It's been stuck in my head for some time, and it's all Japanese rap. Or is it hiphop? I dunno what the artists think they're singing. All I know is that Japanese Raphop is WAY better than the bullshit people sing over here. Honestly. A song about how cool you are because "you teeths is shiny"? I can't describe how violent the stupidity makes me feel. ANYWAY! Opening theme for Ayakashi, from which the series Mononononononoke was spawned: Ayakashi OPPopular Japanese band, Dragon Ash. Song is called Greatful Days. I can never feel down if I hhear this song, and it's the best thing to listen to first thing in the morning: Dragon Ash - Greatful DaysOne of the Naruto Shippuden openings~ song, Hero's Come Back! by Nobody Knows. This song would be better if the throat cancer guy wasn't singing. XD: Nobody Knows - Hero's Come BackA Naruto Shippuden ending theme by Home-Made Kazoku, Nagareboshi (shooting star): Home-Made Kazoku - NagareboshiAnd here's some random Korean goodness, because I love Moon Hee Jun like a stupid high school girl, and TVXQ is fun to put into gay situations. :D MHJ - AloneTVXQ (DBSK) - Rising Sunand lookout! WOAH, NOSTALGIA!! This is stuff I used to listen to when I was freakin 14! XDD Gundam X - Resolution (2nd OP)Gundam X - Dreams (1st OP)Initial D - Nights of FireHmmm.. I don't remember if this song is any good...but...the title. I'm sure Zechs does. For Treize. OOOHOHOHOHOHOOO, GUNDAM WING PERVERSION! Ah, I miss it~ Gundam Wing - Zechs ComesIt sounds so EPIC. Me oh my. fufufufu, moving on. Rumi Oishi - Just Love! (Gundam Wing ED)Two Mix - Rhythm Emotion (another GW song)Two Mix - Last Impression (MOARE GW)Actually, if the band is Two Mix, just assume the music was for Gundam Wing. XD Ah, that band... Two Mix - Just Communication (In my memory, these all just start to run together..)Two Mix - Rhythm Generation (Yay! My favorite karaoke song EVAR!)Gundam Wing - Flying Away (Heero Yuy Image song)Gundam Wing - Kitto OK! (It's Gonna Be OK! Duo Maxwell image song)Okay, last one, I promise... XD And it's not weird and corny like the rest of these. Akino Arai - Sakasama No Niji (Inverted Rainbow, or Upside-down Rainbow, a Record of Lodoss War ending, I think)Well, that took a weird turn, didn't it? From J-raphop to lame 90's anime pop! :D Although I can't diss Two Mix, really~ And I'll always have a loving soft spot for Gundam Wing. (It'll always be my favorite show to pair guys up in, that is >3 Oh, GW was made for mathematics and crustaceans...) I promise I didn't listen to ONLY THAT when I was young. There was more, I was diverse!

Granted, Mims' circular logic and Black Eyed Peas' self-glorification in emo minor wrapped in vulgarity and garnished with Fergie's odd vocals are a definite turn off. However, that's just because cookie-cutter major label rap & hip hop are terrible as a rule. This will sound stereotypical, but alot of good rappers are pretty underground. Have you ever listened to Blue Scholars? Well... anyway ^^; Not that I disagree with you about rapanese. I haven't heard too much of it, but from what I have heard, it definitely beats some breakfast foods. I'll listen to all those later, when I won't be disturbing the political ambience the presidential debate spilled all over the house. God... I'm so full of crap tonight... I sound like English is my 3rd language, or something. I really could have just said my parents will be mad if I interrupt the news with extra noise right now. Instead, I mean... lookit this paragraph. It's a mess :/ I need sleep ~_~ but there's this story I've been meaning to read, and several pictures I've been meaning to look at. Sigh, sigh! I want some coffee so bad now. But, really, milk in coffee is weird. I'm not sure why so many people do it. I can hardly stand any espresso involving dairy now, either. I did have a latte this morning, but it was only because I wanted something sweet. Cinnamon dolce is hard to resist. Coffee always makes me think of Komui, too ^^ Good, I'm glad you got to go home early! Hmm.. the baristas in SBC are starting to bother me really bad. They're like a collection of generally-off-but-not-in-the-good-way people that are too personable, but only when you don't want to talk to them. I'm sorry to whine. But honestly! All I wanted to do was read FMA in peace while waiting for my ride, but can they behave themselves just for a while? Apparently not. I was going to buy coffee, because despite their awkwardness it's the best cafe within walking distance of my bus stop besides Victor's, but they were so weird.. I didn't want to have to interact with them. I'll stop rambling now. I want to draw Adashino and Ginko drinking with a griaffe now XD Er- I don't mean the giraffe would be drinking too, though, even though it's an amusing thought. But- Narwhals in Hots? 8D Yay! ...please write more of that one ;__; The suspense is killing me. You left it at such a cliffhanger, you villain! Just kidding. I'm not one to talk ^^; I'm terrible about finishing stuff (but you knew that). This is preposterous. I am so tired, for no reason. It could be fighting off this cold I suppose.... I think it's taken me about 40 mintutes to write this much. Pathetic, huh? I feel so bad for the DGray science department. I cannot function without enough sleep. How do they live?? Clearly they've done some complicated surguries to modify themselves into beings that need less sleep. I have nothing positive to say right now ^^; ← massive overuse of that expression picword: Timcanpy is a gangster |

Horror time~ I like the first one. The premise of a little kid accidentaly killing her mother - that would definitely make a good story! [police report] Murder weapon: cupcakes XD ... I might not be capable of doing anything without crackifying it. *bow* gomen. The second one - this sounds like it's heavily based on visuals, so - I think it has the potential to be really good, and the potential to be really boring. I hope you give it a shot, though? I'd like to see this one. I love creepy, snowy settings. The third one - YES MERMAID HORROR all those fairytales don't know what's what. Mermaids are vicious creatures. It's a little bit of a classic idea, but maybe this mermaid lures her victims into the pont, then eats them? These are good so far! I'm gonna think on them for a while, and see if I manage to come up with more to contribute to the development of each. Other than that, let's discuss our fears - these would be good places to start coming up with horror. One of my greatest fears is suffocating. In the ...1700's? somewhere in there - alot of people made their money by supplying medical schools with cadavers. Perfect cadavers were the only ones they would take, however - even if there was only bruising, they might not be accepted. So, their suppliers adopted a new method to meet these standards. It was called burking, I think. It was named for someone whose last name was Burk. That's all I remember as far as that bit goes. But anyway, what they'd do is break into someone's house, find someone asleep who they deemed a suitable prospective cadaver, and then they'd hold a pillow over their mouth while kneeling on their chest so even if they managed to inhale, their lungs couldn't expand to take in the air. They killed mostly young women, because they tended to fight back (thereby damaging themselves and becoming unsaleable) the least. Would that not make good horror? ...Maybe. It's up to you, if you want to work with the idea or not. I need to read some No plays, I think. There's some really good horror in them, but it's really subtle. I haven't read too many. The one I remember best is called The Sought-For Grave, about the ghost of a woman... who... *can't remember* Well, it was creepy. That's the point. And it was poetically creepy, which I especially enjoyed, because horror is sometimes better if it's grotesquely beautiful instead of just plain disgusting.

*hug(but with a hazmat suit on)* I hope you feel better. That's a lame thing to say, because everyone says that and it's not like it actually does any good, but still. Good luck with feeding starving children in Africa! I ended up taking a day off, even though it means missing Italian, because I've had this sort-of cold on and off for about a week, and figured I might actually get better if I got some rest. It's okay, my Italian teacher is such a silly lady she might not even care. Not to complain about her again, but this was funny - I asked her with help conjugating verbs, because when she'd explained about it it'd been in Italian, and I'd caught some, but not quite enough to understand. She said she'd email me the rules to do so. The email I got was in Italian as well. AGH MS. MILITANO YOU ARE SO SMART, YEAH? *die* I'm never sure whether I should write No or Noh. But thanks for looking some up! They'll probably help with that Dying!Adashino story. I think it's fine to base manga on a Noh play. Alot of mangaka do that, don't they? The story about Guzol and Lala in DGray was based on a Noh play called Koi No Omoni and the opera Parsifal. Oh, and mangaka-san - whether your art is good or not isn't really your job to decide, okay? Everyone that looks at it's gonna have a different opinion, and mine is that your art is great. Besides, making things eye-pleasing pretty much depends on the people's features, right? You might be able to edit drawings to make them creepier after you get all the basic contours right. There's no way to predict how your art will be interpreted, so, until you get some reactions, don't formulate too many opinions of your work. I'm excited about this body seller idea, too! Can't wait to see where it goes :3 I like where you're taking the mermaid idea. About Frand - maybe he could be one of the medical students working with the bodies bought from these burk-ers? Or a professor? About rap, I wasn't offended ^^ I just like talking about music. And I agree with you completely about all those gangster wannabes ~_~ They make me so mad. They want to act like their lives are so hard, when in reality they have it easier than 99% of the population. ...And I hate baggy pants. So much. I could probably rant about them for at least two paragraphs. But Ginko poppin' a cap in some poser is a great thought XD Come to think of it, thug!Ginko and gangster!Adashino might make a good AU. It's been a little too long since I wrote one. Speaking of which~ |D oh my, that's some brilliant thinking you've done with that giraffe idea. I'll definitely look into Ayakashi, and post a more interesting comment in a little while, but right now I'm coughing too hard to think ~_~ It may be nap time.

Soooooooo tireeddddddddddddd.. ugh. No amount of coffee has been able to wake me up so far. I'd kind of like to go outside, but it's cold out there. I looked up bento in lj search - and, yeah, wow. Japanese lunch beats American lunch so much. All the food is either heart-shaped, flower-shaped, or a smiley panda. ...How do Japanese men feel about this? Is lunch always so adorable, or is there a masculine version? That sounds so funny, but I blame that I'm sick. No one can think when they're sick. One of my friends once told me that alot of singers gargle with lemon juice before they perfom to keep from coughing, so maybe I should try it. *juices a lemon* Erg that's gross. But it does kind of work. So I've been trying to write, and apparently I fail at creativity when I'm sick, too. So all I've been doing is watching old DGray episodes, mostly. What about you? Feeling any better? This morning I was so incoherent when I woke up to get some coffee, that I cut my thumb while getting some coffeecake to go with it. I guess that's a good method of deterring onesself from unhealthy foods, though? Hah. For a minute I just stood there and laughed at myself. And now, the sun is setting at 3 in the afternoon. I miss summer so bad! I'm sorry my thoughts are so jumbled. This comment might be annoying to read. Man, you know you're a little too manga-obsessed when you start planning workouts around cosplay. I'm gonna need to work my shoulders a ton to pull off Maria's dress, but that's what I'm set on. Good thing mother is so good at sewing. It might not get done in time for Sakura con... Actually, it definitely won't, because that's a fairly complicated dress and actually getting time to work on it's gonna be fairly hard, considering mum's schedule. I probably won't end up with an identical one (the bodice? OMG no, that's a little too revealing), and I need to convince one of my friends to be Cross and go with me. This is kind of impractical of me, but no one cosplays Maria - someone needs to, at least once. Although I'm not thrilled at the idea of wrapping my head up in bandages. I need to find some gauze I can see through (and make sure the con rules allow for full masks). Let me know if you do end up making an exorcist coat! Which one would you be, if you were going to?

So, I sort of found that one picture I was talking about.. Sort of. It was in a youtube video, and the creator won't say where they got the images, so... um, here, have the small blurry version.
